At 9, Kevin found that his back was extremely flexible. His coach suggusted he look into a performing company called Cirque Du Soleil. After watching clips of them, he began to train in contortion. His gymnastics coach was new to this, so Kevin trained in the art by himself. Training and stretching every day, and after four years, he auditioned for a local performing arts company in Manitou Springs, CO. Kevin fell in love with the stage, and since 14, has been performing.
Contortionist Circus Artist
was born in the Philippines, but grew up in Colorado. When he was 3, his parents enrolled him in gymnastics. He learned quickly, and became advanced for his age. So because of that, he joined the advance girls class.
There he learned the Uneven Bars, the Balance Beam, as well as some Rhythmic Gymnastics. A little later on, he also learned the Men's events.
Kevin has performed many places in the midwest, up and down the Rocky Moutain Range, and many times while he attended univeristy. He then moved to Vermont for a 9 month program at the New England Center for Circus Arts. (NECCA) He performed for the 3rd annual Cirque Du Soleil Cabaret show in Sept. 2009. He moved to Singapore in 2010 to 2012, completing the 2 year contract as original cast, at Resorts World at Sentosa in the show "Voyage de la Vie" as Understudy and later promoted to a Principle Character performing contortion in a Solo and Duo Act.
